Trypillia (Ukrainian: Трипiлля, Russian: Триполье, Tripolye) is a village in the Obukhiv Raion (district) of the Kyiv Oblast in central Ukraine, with 2,800 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2005). It lies about 40 km (25 mi) south from Kyiv on the Dnieper.
Trypillia is the site of an ancient mega-settlement dating to 4300–4000 BCE belonging to the Cucuteni-Trypillian culture.
