Izhevsk (Russian: Иже́вск, IPA: [ɪˈʐɛfsk]; Udmurt: Иж, Iž, or Ижкар, Ižkar) is the capital city of Udmurtia, Russia, located along the Izh River in the Western Ural Mountains.
