Ningbo (Chinese: 宁波; Ningbonese pronunciation: [ɲìɲ.póʔ], Standard Mandarin pronunciation: [nǐŋ pwó] (listen)), formerly romanized as Ningpo, is a sub-provincial city in northeast Zhejiang province, People's Republic of China.
