Miskolc (UK: MEESH-kolts, US: MISH-kohlts, Hungarian: [ˈmiʃkolt͡s] (listen); Czech and Slovak: Miškovec; German: Mischkolz; Yiddish: Mishkoltz; Romanian: Mișcolț) is a city in northeastern Hungary, known for its heavy industry.

With a population of 161,265 (1 Jan 2014) Miskolc is the fourth largest city in Hungary (behind Budapest, Debrecen, and Szeged). It is also the county capital of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén and the regional centre of Northern Hungary.

New Braunfels ( (listen) BRAWN-felz) is a city in Comal and Guadalupe counties in the U.S. state of Texas known for its German-Texan heritage. It is the seat of Comal County. The city covers 44.9 square miles (116 km2) and has a 2019 estimated population of 90,209.

A suburb just north of San Antonio, and part of the Greater San Antonio metropolitan area, it is the third-fastest-growing city in the United States.
