Aosta (UK: , US: , Italian: [aˈɔsta] (listen); French: Aoste [ɔst], formerly Aouste; Francoprovençal: Aoûta [aˈuta], Veulla [ˈvəla] or Ouhta [ˈuhta]; Latin: Augusta Praetoria Salassorum; Walser: Augschtal; Piedmontese: Osta) is the principal city of Aosta Valley, a bilingual region in the Italian Alps, 110 km (68 mi) north-northwest of Turin.

It is situated near the Italian entrance of the Mont Blanc Tunnel, at the confluence of the Buthier and the Dora Baltea, and at the junction of the Great and Little St Bernard Pass routes.

Těně is a village and municipality (obec) in Rokycany District in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic. The municipality covers an area of 4.9 square kilometres (1.9 sq mi), and has a population of 248 (as at 3 July 2006).

Těně lies approximately 15 kilometres (9 mi) east of Rokycany, 30 km (19 mi) east of Plzeň, and 59 km (37 mi) south-west of Prague.
