Its postal code is 45200 and its municipal code is 4503. It is the second most populated municipality in the province after Mécheria.

Beirut ( bay-ROOT; Arabic: بيروت‎, romanized: Bayrūt; French: Beyrouth, pronounced [bɛʁut]) is the capital and largest city of Lebanon.
