Ales (Sardinian pronunciation: Abas), is a small village in Oristano, on the island Sardinia in Italy's Mediterranean Sea. It is located on Mount Arci's eastern slopes. This is the only source of obsidian in Sardinia.
Ales, together with Terralba form the Roman Catholic Diocese of Ales–Terralba.

Braga ( BRAH-gə, Portuguese: [ˈbɾaɣɐ] (listen); Proto-Celtic: *Bracara) is a city and a municipality in the northwestern Portuguese district of Braga, in the historical and cultural Minho Province.
